A Westmoreland County man accused of killing his mother Sunday morning surrendered to police Sunday night after returning to the crime scene.
Jakob Korber allegedly murdered Christin Hamilton at her home on Herminie West Newton Road in Sewickley Township.
Surveillance video shows Korber in an argument with Hamilton before he violently assaulted her.
The manhunt featured a helicopter and officers with police dogs on the ground searching the nearby woods before Korber was taken into custody late Sunday.
One neighbor told KDKA-TV that there had been issues in the past with Korber and he may suffer from mental illness. KDKA-TV cameras captured Korber's arrested on video.
Korber is being held at the Westmoreland County Prison and was denied bail.
