Retired offensive lineman, future Hall of Famer, Super Bowl champion and media superstar Jason Kelce visited a Pittsburgh staple while in town over the weekend.
Kelce was in Pittsburgh for ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown pregame show for the Steelers/Giants game at Acrisure Stadium.
While in town on Sunday, Kelce stopped by a local Primanti Bros. location to watch his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, beat the Steelers divisional rival, Cincinnati Bengals, 37-17 on TV.
Primanti Bros. spokesperson Ryan Wilkerson tells KDKA Radio that Kelce “stopped by essentially unannounced – ready to watch the Eagles game and know that Primanti Bros. was the best place to do it.”
Kelce stopped by the Pleasant Hills location to take in the game. No word on if he tried the DangeRuss sandwich (in honor of Russell Wilson).
Kelce was busy over the weekend, stopping by the Giant Eagle Market District location in Robinson Township to promote Garage Beer.
Along with his brother Travis, the Kelces have taken seen their star power rise over the past year or so.
It doesn’t hurt that Travis is dating one of the most successful and popular people on earth, Taylor Swift.
Oh, and yeah, Kelce also thinks that catch from George Pickens in the endzone Monday night should’ve been a touchdown.
