Only three JCPenney stores left in the Pittsburgh area, that is, after the closing of the location of at Ross Park Mall.
In a statement to KDKA Radio, a company spokesperson said they were unable to continue their current lease terms for the location, and were unable find another suitable location in the market.
JCPenney was the last remaining original anchor store from Ross Park’s opening in 1986.
The others were Sears, Kaufmann’s and Horne’s.
The remaining Pittsburgh-area JCPenney stores are in Monroeville Mall, Westmoreland Mall and Robinson Town Center.
