A Jewish student is suing Carnegie Mellon University for discrimination and antisemitism.
The student says she was subjected to anti-Jewish discrimination at CMU's School of Architecture and her complaints were met with retaliation.
For example, Yael Canaan alleges a professor said her studio project should focus on “what Jews do to make themselves such a hated group.”
After the 23-year-old complained to administrators, she says other professors subjected her to a “systemic campaign of hostility.”
Bloomberg reports the lawsuit was filed Wednesday in federal court in Pittsburgh.
