Prosecutors have agreed to drop most of the charges against the Peters Township student accused in a so-called "catfishing scheme" where he allegedly solicited or took nude photos of teenage boys.
18-year-old Zachariah Meyers remains behind bars, while he still faces 67 criminal charges in the case.
Meyers was originally facing over 300 charges.
His attorney tells the Tribune Review his deal with prosecutors also protects alleged victims who would have had to endure a days-long preliminary hearing.
The District Judge denied bail, saying that he considers Meyers a flight risk.
Meyers is accused of posing as a woman on social medial, using photos of an adult film star to exchange videos and photos with student he catfished.
He is also accused of getting another teenager to record video inside the Peters wrestling locker room multiple times without the students knowing.
