A jury has been selected in the homicide trial for the man accused of killing McKeesport Police Officer Sean Sluganski.
Johnathan Morris is accused in the fatal shooting of Sluganski and wounding partner Chuck Thomas as they responded to a call about a mental health crisis.
On February 7th, 2023, Morris' mother called 911 and reported her son suffered from PTSD and was being aggressive toward her.
He left the house and when the officers found Morris, he allegedly pulled out a gun and opened fire. The trial is expected to begin Monday and could last several weeks.
