As Thanksgiving approaches, let’s take the time to pause, take a breath and reflect on what the holiday means: Thankful for Family, friends, co-workers, our country, our city. As we reflect on the year there are definitely some positive things to be grateful for:

- 12 years of dedicated service from outgoing Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald

-  Schools and businesses finally got back to normal this year following three years of chronic shutdowns while dealing with COVID-19.

- Downtown saw a close to 100% visitor recovery rate this past summer (according to numbers from Visit Pittsburgh.

So, whether you are headed over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s or hosting a house full of guests, be grateful for the times we get to spend together and the wonderful food we get to enjoy.  In all the craziness of the day, appreciate this time of year and all of our blessings. Charlie Brown was right when he said, “What if today, we were just grateful for everything.”  At KDKA radio we are grateful for your loyalty and never take it for granted.  Thank you.  We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.
