KDKA Radio Editorial: Father's Day

We are honoring dads on this Father’s Day weekend.

Men with children who are growing or have left the nest, and those with grandchildren.

This is our time to express gratitude for fathers.

It is also a time to remember fathers no longer with us.

Morning Show host Larry Richert recently wrote about his father Kenneth on kdkaradio.com.

Larry is one of the people celebrating a father who has passed, a man he calls his personal hero.

A husband and father to five children.

It’s a touching and inspirational message.

So here’s to the fathers of all ages and those who’ve left us.

Men who are dependable, involved, compassionate, honest, playful, industrious and most of all human.

Happy Father’s Day!
