A Mount Oliver woman is facing kidnapping charges after police say she threatened a taxi driver with a knife.
Allegheny County Police say the driver picked up 26-year-old Mya Owens and her daughter at a downtown Pittsburgh hotel.
During the drive, investigators say Owens pulled out a large kitchen knife, threatened the driver and demanded he take her to Pittsburgh International Airport.
The driver was able to get help after arriving at the airport and told an officer what happened.
Police say video from inside the vehicle captured the incident, and the knife was found in the backseat.
Owens is facing kidnapping, unlawful restraint, terroristic threats and corruption of minors charges.
