Kingfly Spirits in Pittsburgh's Strip District has permanently closed after filing for Chapter Seven bankruptcy.
The distillery operated for seven years after opening in a renovated historic building in 2019.
The business evolved into an events venue hosting weddings, corporate events and cultural performances.
The events venue posted on social media that all future event reservations have been canceled and will be refunded.
“The team here at Kingfly toasts you for the last time,” owners wrote on Facebook. “As of (Wednesday), we are moving on to the next chapter of life and could not be more grateful for your friendship, patronage, support and celebration of what we did together.”
Kingfly Spirits was located on the 2600 block of Smallman Street.
