A man was taken into custody Sunday after an early-morning standoff in the Village of Edmon in Kiski Township.

Kiski Township police were called about a man firing his gun outside his house on Water Street.

When police arrived the man retreated back into his home and began firing his weapon out of a second-story window.

After police tried to talk to him into surrendering, he came outside with a shotgun in his hand and threatened to kill the officers and himself.

He then went back into his house and Pennsylvania State Police along with SERT troopers broke into his house and arrested him.

Officers found approximately one pound of methamphetamines, marijuana, additional guns, and a large amount of money.

36 year-old Joshua Reilly of Kiski Township was arrested for terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, flight to avoid apprehension, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and other charges.
