How do you get a kitten out of the ductwork? You call an expert.
It happened Wednesday in Gibsonia.
Laurel noticed a foster kitten made its way into the home's ventilation ducts and she couldn't get the cat to come out.
She got in touch with Marty Griffin to see what could be done while her husband shut the furnace off.
Marty reached out to Matt Mertz with Armstrong Comfort Solutions.
“We’ve don’t a lot of cool things together but this one’s certainly different,” Mertz told Griffin on The Big K Morning Show.
Matt sent two technicians, Eli and Zach.
One used an inspection camera to round up Jolly while the other waited to make the capture.
“And they pushed the camera along, pushing against the kitten, until she fell into the crate,” said Laurel.
Next is finding her a permanent home. If you've got the perfect place, reach out to Paws Across Pittsburgh.
How about that folks? Pretty amazing what can happen when people and companies actually care about their neighbors.
