If you’ve been without power since Tuesday, you’ve probably had to throw away most of the items in your refrigerator.
In response to all the food people are losing, local grocers have announced a one-day discount for shoppers.
In addition to Giant Eagle locations, all eight Kuhn’s Markets in the Pittsburgh area are offering a 15% discount on your order, Sunday, May 4th only.
Kuhn’s tells KDKA Radio you have to use your Kuhn’s reward card to get the discount.
Milk, alcohol and tobacco are not included in the discount and the 15% can only be used once per customer.
Kuhn’s has locations on Banksville, McKnight, Bellevue, Ingomar, Highwood, Beulah, Hopewell and Allison Park.
