A large sinkhole opened up Wednesday afternoon in Pittsburgh

City Councilman Khari Mosley says that multiple agents are on the scene of the sinkhole in Homewood at the intersection of Bennett and Hale Street.

The Pittsburgh Water Authority, Department Works, Department of Mobility and Infrastructure and Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority are all on the scene.

The sinkhole has been taped off and Councilman Mosley is asking the public to “use extra caution and take extra time” in the area.

Hale Street is closed between Bennett Street and Felicia Way.
