For over 15 years you saw the team of Larry Richert and John Shumway on your TV and heard them every morning on your radio.
Now, for the first time in years, Larry and John will be teamed up again. This time, for UPMC Children’s Hospital.
KDKA Radio and TV are teaming up for the annual Free Care Fund Telethon on Thursday.

For over 70 years KDKA has helped raise money for children and their families going through so much, especially during the holidays.
During the telethon Thursday night, you’ll see Larry and John back together again.
“I’m trilled to be teamed with John Shumway again,” said Larry. “After being locked in a studio with him for 16 years!”
“Over 15 years, we developed a bond that work, distance and time has not diminished and it will be nice to be back together again,” said John.
The team up tonight will reignite one of the most iconic broadcasting partnerships in the history of Pittsburgh.
