The Laurel Highlands School District is hiring counsel to look into its policies and handling of investigations involving two teachers.
In a special school board meeting Wednesday night, members voted to hire MBM Law to conduct the investigation.
Two teachers, Daniel Cervone and Martin Gatti were accused of having separate inappropriate relationships with students.
District Attorney Mike Aubele said last week on social media that if students are being told to be silent that it is unacceptable and his office will prosecute if a witness or victim is being intimidated.
