State lawmakers in Pennsylvania are taking another shot at legalizing recreational marijuana in the commonwealth.
Pittsburgh-area Democrat Dan Frankel says a proposal is going to be put out “in the next few weeks.”
He tells The Big K Morning Show that Pennsylvania is missing out on significant revenue.
“We got Ohio, New York, Maryland,” said Frankel. “So, we are literally surrounded by states have legal adult-use cannabis.”
He said he also wants to make sure that there are regulations in place to monitor the sales of recreational pot.
A bipartisan bill to legalize recreational marijuana was also introduced last June.
