The man who was ordered to stand trial this week, accused of putting an explosive under his former landlord's lawnmower, is now facing additional criminal in a separate incident involving another explosive device.
The Westmoreland County DA's Office says James Sever is facing attempted homicide and 17 counts each of aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person as well as additional counts.
State police say they responded to a call in mid-August to a Turnpike off-ramp, where a pipe bomb was found.
Police say the bomb had fallen from a loaner car that Sever's relative had been driving, and that at least two other families had driven it while the bomb was inside.
