Multi-food vendor Lawrence Hall to close by the end of 2026

Wednesday headlines

Pittsburgh's Headlines: October 14, 2026

Lawrence Hall, the multi-vendor food hall located in Lawrenceville will close good by the end of the year.

After years of development, the hall opened in early 2024.

The owners cited rising costs, a difficult economic climate, and a compounding series of operational setbacks as the primary factors driving the difficult decision.

The venue will remain operational through the holidays to support its staff.

The location will operate under normal hours and is still booking events through December.

“We poured everything we had into making this space something special in Lawrenceville, and we remain deeply proud of what it became,” the owners wrote on Facebook. “Our sincere hope is that the spirit of this place continues on in whatever comes next.”

Originally a live-action theater, the over 130-year-old Lawrence Hall, in Lawrenceville, has had various uses over its history, including an auto dealership and auto service station and finally used for a construction business.
