LCB: Wine and liquor sales up in Pennsylvania during the pandemic

Pennsylvanians bought a lot more wine and liquor during the pandemic.

Liquor Control Board numbers released Wednesday show sales were up almost 14% in the fiscal year ending June 30th.

The state saw a 27% increase in profits, about $265 million on 2.9 billion in revenue.

$813 million of the revenue went to state and local governments.
