PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Louis Lipps will enter a rehabilitation program for first-time offenders possibly leading to expungement of his November DUI.
On Nov. 6, Lipps was charged with two counts of DUI after he struck a parked vehicle with his truck on Mount Washington.
A breath test performed on Lipps at the scene of the accident showed he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.235%, nearly three times the legal limit.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
The details of Lipps's program were not listed but the completion of the program will expunge the DUI from his record.
DUI classes, substance abuse treatment, and community service can be a part of the programs.
