Five members of the Undercliff Volunteer Fire Company in Shaler Township have been suspended, accused of responding to a call while they were under the influence.
The incident happened on August 2 on East Genessee Street, where smoke odors turned out to be a false alarm.
A concerned citizen filed a complaint with the township and sources told KDKA-TV the firefighters may have been drinking at a nearby bar.
There's a special company meeting on the 19th where members may decide on any discipline, including termination.
