Long John Silver's opens brand-new location in Washington, PA

After a few years away, Long John Silver’s is back in Washington, PA.

The brand-new location on West Chestnut Street, right near McDonald’s and Burger King, opened on Friday with high demand.

Some commenters on social media said the drive-thru lines were long as customers got their hands on the fast food fish, chicken and more.

The former Washington Long John Silver’s was at the old Washington Crown Center Mall and has been closed for a few years now.

The new location is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

If you want to get in and out but don’t want to wait in the drive-thru line, you can download the LJS app and order ahead.

“Our guests are our top priority, and we want to be sure our guests have a positive experience throughout every phase of their visit,” said Leigh Ann VanDam, vice president of design and development at Long John Silver’s. “Our restaurant design aims to deliver on that goal, from the fresh design to technology enhancements that simplify the ordering process. We know we’re providing an outstanding experience that will have guests eager to plan their next visit.”
