A Pittsburgh man accused of spray-painting an antisemitic phrase and damaging a pro-Israel display on the North Side is now charged with ethnic intimidation.
Police say 36-year-old Mario Ashkar can be seen on security video spray-painting a Nazi slogan on the sidewalk outside a residence where three previous incidents had been reported.
Ashkar is facing ethnic intimidation, theft, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct charges.
