Man accused of beating two people with a baseball bat at a GetGo arrested

A man accused of beating two people with a baseball bat last week at a Westmoreland County convenience store has been arrested.

Pennsylvania State Police say it happened on Thursday at GetGo on Route 22 in Salem Township.

One of the victims said ex-boyfriend Reno Roberts confronted and punched them before hitting them with the bat, apparently enraged by their new relationship.

The two victims were found hear a gas pump with injuries.

Roberts was arraigned and denied bail on Tuesday.
