Man accused of burglarizing Beaver Co. church arrested in New York City

The man accused of burglarizing a Beaver County church was arrested Wednesday morning, in New York City.

55-year-old Arthur Jack is accused of stealing $285 from a locked donation box at a synagogue in Brooklyn.

NYPD says Jack was chased to a subway station and arrested after a brief standoff.

He is wanted by Rochester Police for stealing several items from Grace Lutheran Church last weekend.

Jack will be extradited to Beaver County.
