A man accused of raping an ex-girlfriend was arrested Wednesday night at a home in Penn Hills.
The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office says 38-year-old Raymond Byrdsong Jr. has been on the run since December 24.
On that day, the woman told police Byrdsong sexually assaulted her in the basement of her home.
Officers spotted him in a vehicle and tried to get him out but Byrdsong drove away at a high rate of speed.
He is facing a number of charges, including felony counts of rape.
