A Butler County man accused of distributing deepfake porn involving children waived his preliminary hearing on Monday.
20-year-old Benjamin Staiger of Harmony is charged with nearly four dozen felony offenses.
The attorney general’s office says he altered images of children to show them engaged in sex acts.
Staiger has posted $100,000 bail and is being monitored electronically.
His next hearing is set for February.
