UPDATE: The FBI confirms to KDKA Radio that Donald Henson is now in custody.
"The FBI would like to thank our local, state, and federal law enforcement and community partners for their assistance," a release reads.
Authorities are searching for a Penn Hills man accused of ramming the entrance gates of the FBI's Pittsburgh Field Office early this morning.
They say Donald Henson drove a white sedan into the gates around 2:40 a.m. Henson threw an American flag over the gate and the car had a message written on the windows.
He then fled the scene on foot.
A bomb squad was called to check the vehicle before it is moved.
The FBI considers the incident a “targeted attack against the FBI.”
No one was injured during the incident.
There's no indication Henson is armed, but he is believed to have a history of mental health issues.
FBI Assistant Special Agent In Charge Christopher Giordano tells KDKA-TV "In scouring our indexes, we did find that he visited the field office a couple of weeks ago to make a complaint that didn't make a whole lot of sense."
