A Preliminary hearing is scheduled for next week for a Blair County man accused of setting off a firework in a men's room stall at Rivers Casino early Sunday morning.
Bail is set at $25,000 for Jeremy Hartman of Martinsburg, who allegedly set off a commercial grade firework in a men's room at the casino.
He was being held for questioning after authorities say he was caught trying to steal $4,000 worth of liquor from a closed restaurant.
They say he set off the firework when he asked to use the men's room.
The commercial grade firework was set off inside a toilet. An employee in the men’s room suffered minor injuries.
Police say they obtained a search warrant and found more fireworks in Hartman's vehicle in the casino garage.
His hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday morning.
Hartman is charged with risking a catastrophe, arson and more.
