Man accused of stabbing state officer on Montour Trail pleads guilty

But mentally ill

The man accused in the fatal stabbing of a Pennsylvania State Police liquor enforcement agent on the Montour Trail last year has pleaded guilty, but mentally ill.

Anthony Quesen jumped Benjamin Brallier, who was out for a run, stabbing him multiple times.

About seven months earlier, he was also named a person of interest in a deadly attack on a trail outside of Albany, New York.

In 2023, Quesen was charged with attacking someone in Point State Park, but released on non-cash bail.

He will be sentenced for Brallier's murder in November.
