
A Westmoreland County man and woman are facing charges, accused of taking a Lutheran Pastor’s credit cards from his wallet.
The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s office says 35-year-old Jarell Carpenter and 40-year-old Erica Bloom, both of Monessen are charged with theft and other related charges.
Police say credit cards were stolen while the pastor was preaching inside Hope Memorial Lutheran Church in Smithton on March 10.
The pastor alerted Pennsylvania State Police after he discovered the cards were stolen.
Troopers say the cards were used at a supermarket and another business in Smithton.
