
An arrest has been made following an alleged assault at Rivers Casino on the North Shore.

53-year-old Edward Smorey of Hookstown according to police confronted his ex-girlfriend at the Drum Bar inside the casino on Friday night around 10:40 p.m.
He then allegedly assaulted her, and when another man tried to intervene, Smorey allegedly threatened to kill him.
When police tried to apprehend him in the parking garage, he allegedly drove off in an SUV at a high rate of speed, nearly striking the officer, who had to move out of the way.
Police eventually arrested Smorey on Saturday and transported to Allegheny County Jail.
He's now facing a host of charges including aggravated assault, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.
This incident comes days after five people were arrested after a large fight broke out in the Casino.
