An Edgewood man is facing charges after allegedly stealing a running car from Pittsburgh International Airport Thursday morning.
Allegheny County Police say 29-year-old Sagnik Das allegedly took an unoccupied and running Jeep Cherokee from the departures curb around 8 a.m.
The stolen car was reported to police at the airport right away.
Police say an officer from airport detail spotted the car on the Parkway West and initiated a traffic stop near the Carnegie exit.
Das was arrested without incident. He is expected to be charged with theft of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.
