Pennsylvania State Police in Pittsburgh have charged a man in connection with a deadly wrong-way accident Sunday night on the Parkway.
Pedro Olan Morales is charged with aggravated assault by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter and multiple other crimes for the accident, where a pickup truck was going the wrong way and hit another vehicle.
Troopers tell KDKA Radio that Morales’ last known address was in North Carolina.
Morales was still hospitalized as of Monday afternoon and will be arraigned upon release.
Two people were killed, 52-year-old Shannon Worrow and 77-year-old Sharon Orlofske. One other person is hospitalized, in addition to Morales.
An investigation is ongoing.
