A man accused of attempted homicide, rape and other charges is in custody after an attack in Arnold, PA.
The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s office says 28-year-old Cue Freckleton was arrested on Tuesday after being accused of attacking and sexually assaulting his neighbor.
The 67-year-old female victim told Arnold Police that Freckleton came to her door on Monday evening.
She told police Freckleton punched her in the face up to 20 times after opening the door.
She then fell to the ground and was dragged by Freckleton inside the home by her hair.
She tried to get away and contact authorities but Freckleton continued to punch her, causing her to bleed.
Freckleton then reportedly forced the victim into a sexual encounter with the threat of continuing the attack.
Saying she feared for her life, the victim smeared her blood on Freckleton’s shirt in case she was killed during the attack.
Freckleton left after she promised not to tell anyone about the attack.
When police approached Freckleton’s home, they noticed blood on his shirt. He was arrested and taken to Westmoreland County Prison without bail.
Police say the victim has “significant injuries to her head, face, arms, legs and chest.”
