A man who was convicted in the 1970s for the attack on a woman that left her two children dead, is resentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole.
Attorney General Dave Sunday says the crimes John Veltre was convicted of, were so depraved that he should not be granted parole.
Veltre was convicted of entering a Westmoreland County home in 1973, raping a woman and killing her infant and her two-year-old child.
The woman was left for dead but survived.
