Man convicted of killing another man during failed robbery in New Kensington

A 35-year-old man has been convicted of killing another man during a failed robbery in New Kensington nearly six years ago.

Letresse Williams was found guilty of murder, robbery and weapons charges in connection with the deadly shooting of Anthone Williams in January of 2020.

Prosecutors said Letresse Williams' DNA was on a cell phone left in a vehicle near the crime scene.

He'll be sentenced in the next 90 days.
