State Police say a man is dead after an officer involved shooting.
Troopers were called to an incident this morning on Shamrock Lane in Fawn Township, Allegheny County.
A news release says troopers say encountered a man with a gun who reportedly would not obey their commands.
Preliminary information does not make clear what led to the man's death but says he "succumbed to his injuries."
People are asked to avoid the Shamrock Lane area in Fawn Township while the investigation is underway.
