Man faces felony after his gun was caught at Pittsburgh International Airport

A Warren County man was arrested by Allegheny County Police after he was stopped with a loaded handgun at Pittsburgh International Airport.

The man, identified at 36-year-old Jeremy Snell was stopped by TSA Agents at a security checkpoint with a 9mm handgun with 15 bullets among his carry-on items.

He faces a felony charge of carrying a firearm without a license. He did not have a valid permit to carry a firearm.

Last year's 44 guns seized was a new record. You can be fined up to $15-thousand dollars for attempting to carry a gun onto a plane.

It's the fifth gun stopped by security at Pittsburgh International so far in 2024.
