A man police say was involved in a shootout with officers in February 2023 is again behind bars.
The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Jarrell Saunders is one of three men facing charges for firing gunshots at McKees Rocks Police Officers and the PA Attorney General Narcotics Task Force agents.
Saunders was arrested this past March after a traffic stop in McKeesport.
A judge issued a bench warrant in June for a bond violation.
Detectives learned Saunders was inside a residence in the 100 block of Sylvania Avenue in Beltzhoover.
On Wednesday morning, police forced themselves into the residence after they announced their presence to no response.
Saunders was found trying to avoid police on the second floor and was taken into custody without incident.
He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
