A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Friday morning on I-79.
State police in Butler say 52-year-old Michael Webb was traveling southbound in the left passing lane near the Cranberry exit around 5:40 this morning when his motorcycle struck a deer.
Webb was ejected from the motorcycle.
He was wearing a bicycle helmet, but died at the scene.
The southbound lanes in that area were shut down until about 9 this morning.
