A man on the run after missing a court date was arrested Wednesday.
The Westmoreland County Sheriff's Office says Jeffrey Carlson was wanted after failing to appear at his May hearing in a case involving his nephew and abuse of a corpse.
Carlson allegedly failed to call for medical help when his nephew began to overdose in 2022.
The sheriff's office says Carlson admitted to knowing his nephew died but drove around with the dead body before ditching the vehicle in a parking lot.
