A man was assaulted and wounded during an attempted robbery in Beechview overnight.
This occurred around 1 a.m. in the 1500 block of Belasco Avenue.
The man told officers he was lured to a home where he was pistol-whipped and then shot in the leg.
He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
20-year-old Nyzjayah Majors and 16-year-old James Phillips are in custody, charged with aggravated assault.
