State Police and the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office have charged a man with several crimes, including ethnic intimidation after an incident inside a Pittsburgh-area Walmart was caught on tape.
36-year-old Michael Todora of Speers, Washington County was seen on camera verbally attacking a Black woman with slurs in a viral video made inside the Walmart in Rostraver.
They say they're working with Rostraver Police, the FBI and the local DA's office. Augusta Goll, the woman in the video, spoke to KDKA's Marty Griffin last month.
She said the words he used made her very upset and that after the incident with an apology letter.
Goll said she forgives him, “why not, we are human.”
Todora is also charged with Harassment and disorderly conduct.
Troopers say the investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call PSP Belle Vernon at 724-929-6262.
