A man was gunned down Sunday in Uptown Pittsburgh not far from UPMC Mercy.
Police were sent to the area of Fifth and Vine after ShotSpotter detected gunfire around 11:15 a.m.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital.
A second man stayed at the shooting scene and was taken in for questioning.
