A man is in stable condition after a shooting in Homewood Monday afternoon.

Pittsburgh Police responded to a 13-round ShotSpotter alert in the 7200 block of Race Street around 2:50 p.m.

First responders found a man with a gunshot wound to his lower back.

Medics transferred the victim to a local hospital.

An investigation is ongoing.
