Police in Munhall say a child-custody exchange turned violent Sunday afternoon when a woman stabbed her daughter’s father in the chest outside his Munhall apartment.
According to police, 32-year-old Victor Harvey was found stabbed in the chest around 3:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of Shady Avenue.
He was taken to a hospital and was treated and released.
Detectives arrested 33-year-old Ashley Smith, charging her with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence and criminal mischief.
She's at the Allegheny County Jail awaiting arraignment.
