Man that died inside Allegheny County Jail Sunday identified

The Allison Park man who died Sunday morning at the Allegheny County Jail has been identified.

The Medical Examiner says 55-year-old Mark Schwartz was found unresponsive in his cell by correctional staff and despite lifesaving measures, was pronounced dead about a half hour later.

Schwartz was booked into the jail in August on assault and harassment charges.

Allegheny County Police are investigating his death.
