Man tries to pull gun on officers during drug arrest in Verona

A man who allegedly tried to pull a gun on Verona police is in custody Wednesday morning.

34-year-old Dontae Devero of McKeesport was accused of pulling the gun on police who saw Devero and 34-year-old Jeremiah Yates of Braddock, allegedly doing illegal drugs and drinking inside a parked car.

They say the gun also had a scratched off serial number and that Devero is currently on parole on Federal gun and drug charges out of Florida.

Both men are being held at the County Jail on multiple charges
